Rachel Nugent is a literacy specialist and educator with more than 17 years of experience across K–8 literacy instruction, coaching, and district-level leadership.
As a former literacy coach and district instructional specialist in New York City Public Schools, Rachel brings deep expertise in foundational reading skills, structured literacy, and evidence-based intervention. Now based in Baton Rouge, she partners closely with children and families to provide individualized literacy support—helping young readers build a strong foundation and thrive with confidence, mastery, and joy.
